Keeping Warm, the Challenge at Blyss Kennels

It is my challenge these days to stay warm.  The borzois may love the temperature outdoors, but I clearly do not and it is making me  miserable.  How do people put up with it, I wonder, as I take a greatly abbreviated walk with Jelly?  These days are clearly not for me.

Tomorrow, a new friend is coming for a visit with his borzoi.  She is a very beautiful one, from the same line that I have. I know we will enjoy having them here at Blyss.  The last time he came, the temperature rose to 60 degrees.  I doubt if we will be so lucky tomorrow, but perhaps romance will be in the air, and we will be lucky in other ways.

Regarding Lucy, there was news on Facebook yesterday that she had won yet another Best in Show.  I recently purchased three tickets for Madison Square Garden for Tuesday night, February 14, 2017, when the Best in Show class for the Westminster Kennel Club dog show will be   judged.  I will be attending this with my son and daughter-in-law.  It is possible Lucy will be in that class again.

Although the weather outside may be too cold for me to enjoy, I have  other events to look forward to that will greatly elevate my mood and warm my heart.
