I have to admit my obsession this past month over the defamation trial of Amber Heard and Johnny, Depp.. Rarely does one get such an insight into the private lives of two A-list celebrities as their trial has provided, with each going after one another with claims of mutual horrific behavior. It is a He Said She Said the likes we have not seen since troubled Supreme Court nomination, when names like Clarence Thomas and Anital HIll, and Bret Kavanaugh and an accuser of rape from his past consumed the airwavea. It make me take pause and wonder: can human behavior really sink so low? Are we capable of being so bad? Are we so base? Watchnng this trial, and the others before it, including shows like Judge Judy, where ordinary people have their day in the sun, Americans can be said to be litigous. But I am not here tonight to analyze the countries litigation practices, I am here to vindicate Amber Heard, a woman betrayed in marriage to a man she loved. She simply chose the wrong man, and she has paid dearly for it.
